CH 05 / SOCIAL & COMMUNITY

Social media
marketing.

More than a content calendar.

Strategy, production, community and paid, run in house from Lexington, Kentucky — a social media marketing agency for brands that need the account to do something other than exist.

Nobody owes you
their attention.

A feed is a competition you did not enter and cannot opt out of. Your post is not being judged against your last one. It is being judged against everything else on the screen at that moment.

FROM POST TO PRESENCE / 04

The work behind
being recognized.

Six disciplines. The calendar is the last of them, not the first.

01 / THE POSITION

Social strategy.

Which platforms are worth your time, what the account is for, and what a good month actually looks like. Most brands are on one platform too many and measuring the wrong thing on all of them.

02 / THE LOOK

Content design & art direction.

Templates, type, color and motion that survive being seen for half a second at thumbnail size. Built as a system, so the fiftieth post still looks like the first.

03 / THE MAKING

Photography, video & copy.

Shot, edited and written in house, and cut for each platform rather than exported once and posted everywhere.

04 / THE ROOM

Community management.

Replies, messages, comments and the awkward ones. This is the difference between an account that broadcasts and a brand people talk to.

05 / THE AMPLIFIER

Paid social.

Promoting what has already proved itself rather than boosting at random, with targeting and creative built for the platform instead of borrowed from a print ad.

06 / THE PROOF

Measurement & reporting.

Saves, shares, replies, profile visits and what happened next. Follower count is the number everyone quotes and nobody can act on.

01 / THE PROBLEM

A rural venue losing its regulars.

A restaurant, bar and entertainment venue in a small Union County town, watching customers drift away, with no reliable way to tell the people nearby that anything was happening.

02 / THE WORK

Facebook as the town noticeboard.

We rebuilt the venue’s social presence around events rather than menus, and used the channel the surrounding community already checks. Engagement rose sharply and the events started filling the room.

They said it

Verified Google reviews from business owners, creatives and brands who trusted us with their digital growth.

I’ve been in business for 12 years now and I’ve gone through so many web designers and lead generators and marketing teams never finding the right person or group. I randomly found Global Titans on Reddit and figure that I would give it a shot. This turned out to be one of the best Marketing groups I managed to find In over a decade.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK / 07

Answered
properly.

Two questions, each one a term people genuinely search for. The answers include the parts that are not flattering to us.

01

What is social media marketing?

Using social platforms to build recognition, trust and demand for a business: organic content, community management and paid promotion, usually together. It is not the same thing as advertising on social, which is one part of it. And it is not posting — posting is the visible byproduct of a strategy that either exists or does not.

02

How often should you post on social media?

Often enough to stay recognized, rarely enough to stay good. For most businesses that lands at three to five times a week per platform, and the real constraint is production capacity rather than an ideal number. A brand that posts twice a week for a year beats one that posts daily for a month and then stops.
